Disabled Parking Permit Program |
People In Motion welcomes all donations -
to support the delivery of programs and services and our operations.. We have adopted and follow the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy's Ethical and Financial Accountability Code, which defines Donor's rights, Fundraising Practices and Financial Accountability. In addition, as a United Way Member Agency we are also bound by a Funding Agreement and fundraising policies related to supplementary fundraising. Official Donation Receipts: As a registered charity we are able to provide official donation receipts for charitable donations of money or goods and services. Where the donation is for goods and services we provide an official donation receipt for fair market value. Our issuance of these donation receipts is governed by the federal Income Tax Act and monitored by the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency. The Penny Pinchers and People In Motion corporate/charitable partnership: People In Motion has enjoyed a corporate/charitable partnership with Penny Pinchers Thrift Stores since 1998. Penny Pinchers solicits donations for the stores in our name and in turn provides us with a monthly corporate donation in support of our program and service delivery and operations. We greatly value this partnership and recently recognized Penny Pinchers as the inaugural recipient of our Opening Doors Corporate Recognition Program Gold Award. We welcome your inquiries and donations in support of our mission…opening doors today to create a better tomorrow for people with disabilities. |
